Nidhaga Karunad

Nidhaga Karunad is a captivating performer who has won the hearts of audiences around the nation. He is trained in Yakshagana under Guru Sri Srinivasa Sastan of Karnataka Kala Darshini, Bangalore, Bharatanatyam under Karnataka Kalashree  Guru Smt Dr. Suparna Venkatesh at Sai Arts International, Bangalore, and Kathak under Guru Sri Mysore B Nagaraj at Articulate Studios. He has added to his wide canvas of dance ability, the Folk traditions of India and Martial arts and that has greatly influenced his performances. Nidhaga is also an ensemble member of Padmashree Awardee Guru Malavika Sarukkai's group production - Thari- The Loom. Nidhaga's performances across the country and his presentations in China, Egypt, United kingdom, Singapore,  and conducting workshops at Germany, Bremerhaven University Bremerhaven, Malaysia, and many other countries has been appreciated and applauded. His Portrayal of characters in Dance features of reputed choreographers and producers is highly prized especially in productions of Sai Arts International and Articulate India. Nidhaga is an Empanelled artist of ICCR in Bharatanatyam. He is a Graded artist at Doordarshan in Bharatanatyam and Kathak, Scholarship holder from Karnataka Sangeeta Nritya Academy.

After studying performance art, Nidhaga Karunad has worked tirelessly to develop a unique style and technique, as well as to collaborate on various projects with artists from around the country.
